For Meaux Elementary’s 4-H Club first meeting, all 4th 5th and 6th graders were invited to attend the organizational meeting. Students were told about the activities of the 4-H club, membership and the election of officers.

The second 4-H meeting at school was election day with the following students being elected to positions: President Jayla Campbell; Vice president Gracie Babineaux; Secretary Theresa Rudesill; Treasurer Ian Dupuy; Reporter Elise Vincent; Parliamentarian Taylor Abshire and CRD Chairperson Julie Babineaux.

Hilton Waits with the Vermilion Parish 4-H Extension office spoke to the club members about upcoming activities, in particular the pumpkin workshop and the strawberry clinic.
