On Monday, students learned about the Story of Creation, in Genesis 1:1-31. Tuesday, students learned about the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20. During Wednesday’s session, students learned the Model Prayer from Matthew 6:1-15 and on Friday, the closing program featured a class presentation and motivational song.
The daily program, held from 5:45 to 8 p.m., was enjoyed by all in attendance, according to Beatrice Guillory, principal. A total of 70 children and adults participated in the vacation Bible school.
Attending were, TiYekisha Jenkins, teacher of the primary class; Aniyan Enchart, Anijah Burney, Angelle Phillips, Mariah Lawrence, Shawn Richard, Jr., Carrington Yokum, Kreaston Areyl, Jessica Collins, Amber Green, Ariltia Rideau, Tyson Thornes, Antonio McClellan, Kennedy Minix, Chelsea Thomas, Chelsia Yokum, Jacoby Bias, Tatiana Lewis, Jalimma Stewart, Jordan Mott, Marjaie Lawrence, Derriona Windmon, Aliayah Arceneaux, Demarcus Jones, Le’Kerya Jones, and Christopher Lewis.
The middle class teacher was Marie Moore and students were Daijha Green, Jemmerson Melancon, Lance Scott, Jeremy Thomas, Chadlyn Yokum, Makayla Milson, Demetrius Burnette, D’Marcus Burnertte, Saliria Baker, Warrick Mott, Arianna Lewis, Trevor Mott, Leroy Washington, Katlyn Beverly, Ashley Mott, John Davis, Tre’ Foreman, Tiron Foreman, and Trevor Moore.
Members of the adult class were, Jessie Collins, teacher; and his students were, Weslyn Brown, Tangie Brown, Judy Monroe, Florida Scott, Corti Collins, Joyce Melanson, Denzel Faulks, Genevia Tezeno, Daniel Tezno, Jr. and Charmine Mott.
The art class consisted of Ruth Hawkins, teacher; and everyone included in the primary class listed previously.
Also included in the program were Ruth Hawkins, Tasha Milson, Florida Morgan, Vanessa Morgan, and Brenda Broussard.
