A Nuptial Mass set the tone of the ceremony uniting Autumn Nichole Baudoin and Mitchell James Pommier in holy matrimony.

The 7:00 p.m. ceremony on Friday, October, 17, 2008, was officiated by Father Wayne Duet.

Autumn is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Baudoin of Erath, LA. She is the grand daughter of the late Dan and Thelma Silas of Erath and Mr. and Mrs. Eluc Schexnaider of Abbeville.

Mitchell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Pommier of Abbeville. He is the grand son of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Labit of Abbeville, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Constantin and the late Douglas C Pommier of Abbeville.

Escorted by Robert and Shiray Baudoin, the father and mother of the bride, she wore an Alfred Angelo white imported satin dress that was trimmed with a red semi-cathedral length train. The gown was trimmed with crystal beaded lace in a scalloped cut. To complete the bride’s ensemble, she wore a finger-tip veil of silk illusion with a beaded head piece. She carried a bouquet of Freedom Roses that were hand tied with her mothers mother-of-pearl rosary entwined with an antique heirloom handkerchief that was a gift from Alice H. Lancon.

Serving as the Maid of Honor was Amanda B. Hebert, a friend of the bride. The remainder of the bridesmaids included Ashley Arabie, niece of the bride; Lacey Landry, friend of the bride; Mary Romero, friend of the bride; and Karissa Vincent, friend of the bride.

The girls wore red cherry satin dresses with spaghetti straps and a dropped waist line that led to a white sweep train.

Walking as the Flower girl was Kelsey Dreyer, godchild of the bride. The Ring bearers were Austin Hebert and Talan Mallet, both god children of the bride.

The Best Man for the event was Jeffery Vincent, a friend of the groom. Standing in as groomsmen were Jude Baudoin, nephew of the bride; Garrett Broussard, nephew of the bride; Braxton Pommier, cousin of the groom; and Ryan Pommier, brother of the groom. Ushers for the ceremony included Ross Arabie, nephew of the bride; Taylor Broussard, godchild of the bride; and Kyle Dartez, nephew of the bride.

The bride’s mother wore a red dress with red lace jacket embellished with a white cymbidium orchid corsage.

The groom’s mother wore a green plazo pantset that also included a white cymbidium orchid corsage.

Music for the ceremony was provided by DDana Granger. Readings were given by Tracey Broussard, godmother of the bride.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Erath Community Center.
