Amanda is the daughter of Mrs. Sandra Meaux and the late Gary Meaux of Meaux. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dunice Lee Meaux of Meaux and Mr. Percy Breaux and the late Cecile Breaux of Leroy.
Durk is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ledwood (T’Boy) Baudoin of Kaplan. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harris J. David of Kaplan and the late Dalton and Euseide Baudoin of Kaplan.
Escorted by her mother, Sandra Meaux, the bride wore a beautiful gown made of diamond white delustered satin. The strapless A-line gown featured a corset closure bodice. The ruched bodice was then accented with an elegant beaded embellishment under the bust and adorning the drop waistline. She wore a single layered, elbow-length, pencil edged veil and carried a stem tied bouquet with Virginia roses, white phalenopsis orchids, stephanotis and feather accents. The bouquet also contained a special rosary in remembrance of her grandmother..
Serving in the wedding as Matron of Honor was Christina Russo, sister of the bride. The Maid of Honor was Natalie Broussard, a friend of the bride. Bridesmaids for the wedding included Aimee Herpin, aunt of the bride; Anne Melancon, friend of the bride; Shaylyn Broussard, friend of the bride; and Megan Savoy, friend of the bride.
The Bridesmaids wore Tiffany blue satin strapless, cocktail length sheath gowns with cross over asymmetrical draping detailing the bodice. They carried white hydrangea’s, ivory roses and accented feathers with stems bound tied with white satin ribbon.
Children serving in the wedding party included Jayden Baudoin, niece of the groom as the Flower Girl; Caleb Russo, godchild of the bride and Garrick Baudoin, godchld of the groom, both served as Ring Bearers.
The Best Man for the wedding was Brett Breaux, a friend of the groom. Serving as Groom’s Attendants were Bart Baudoin, brother of the groom; Cory Baudoin, brother of the groom; Jordan Romero, cousin of the broom; Brett Meaux, brother of the bride; and Justin Meaux, brother of the bride. Also serving in the wedding as Ushers were Eric Meaux, cousin of the bride; and Cole Landry, friend of the groom.
The bride’s mother wore a gunmetal shimmery gown with a three-quarter-length sleeved organza jacket. Sparkly beads and sequins adorned the straps and bodice of the gown. The corsage was white dendrobium orchids and ivory sweetheart roses and was accented with silver ribbon.
The groom’s mother wore a lapis glamorous V-neck gown topped with flutter sleeves and finished with a rhinestone embellishment at the front. Elegant tiers completed the skirt. The corsage was also white dendrobium orchids and ivory sweetheart roses and was accented with silver ribbon.
Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Angie Meuleman, trumpeter Jude Gaspard and vocalist Melody Thibodeaux. Readings were given by Cori Hebert, friend of the bride; and Nell Romero, aunt of the groom.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Gueydan Civic Center. The couple plan to reside in Meaux.
