Jessie Lavergne
According to Vermilion Parish Sheriff Mike Couvillon, Jessie Lavergne, 70, of 519 Kevin Drive, Lafayette, was arrested by the VPSO on six counts of sexual battery of an infirmed.
Lavergne is being held in the Vermilion Parish Correctional Center on a $250,000 bond.
Sheriff Couvillon stated Lavergne was employed as a private duty nurse caring for a quadriplegic patient with no communication ability at the time of his arrest.
