Megan is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Dugas. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Barras and the late Donald Barras of Delcambre and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Dugas of Henry.
Justin is the son of Ms. Lori Toups of Erath and Mr. and Mrs. Barry Toups of Erath. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Darnell Fontenot of Erath, Ms. Ena Toups of Henry, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Toups of Kaplan.
The bride was escorted by her father Ken Dugas.
The bride wore an ivory, allover lace, a-line gown with beaded motif detail. It was strapless and featured a sweetheart neckline with a chapel length train. The veil was an elegant, one-tier, ivory veil. It featured a delicate lace embroidery.
For her special day, the bride chose cream orchids, various pale color roses with touches of hydrangeas. Along with her bouquet, she held her great-great aunt’s rosary.
The bride’s maid of honor was her sister Nicole Dugas. Her matron of honor was cousin Stephanie Guidry.
Her bridesmaids included friends Brandi Landry, Andrea Toups, Brooke Delcambre and Leslie Drohet, step-sister of the groom Victoria Baudoin and cousin of the bride Blair Vidrine.
The bridal attendants wore an a-line, tea-length gown of celadon taffeta. The strapless neckline featured a cut-out “v” at the center. Overlapping pleated taffeta accentuated the natural waist.
For her bridesmaids, the bride chose a similar bouquet with color to accent their dresses.
The flower girl was cousin of the bride McKenzie Boudreaux. She wore an all-over lace, a-line gown with a tank bodice featuring exquisite beading around the v-neckline in ivory.
The ring bearer was cousin of the bride Dax Boudreaux.
The groom’s best man was his cousin Damian Duhon.
The groomsmen included friends Ryan Toups, Hunter Fawcett, Tyler Domingues, Hunter Tribe and Waylon Quibedeaux, brother Scott Toups and brother of the bride Beau Dugas.
The ushers included friend of the groom Justin Guidry and cousin of the bride Dustin Dugas.
The mother of the bride wore an R & M Richards design. It was a formal, a-line gown in the color of mauve, with princess seams and ribbon shoulder straps. To complement her ensemble, she wore a three-quarter sleeve jacket that featured beads and sequin embellishments
The mother of the groom wore a formal, a-line gown of latte taffeta, with shirred taffeta overlapping at the natural waist and accented with a beaded applique that created a tank-style bodice. To complement her ensemble, she wore a three-quarter sleeve taffeta jacket.
Music for the ceremony was provided by vocalist Bridget Touchet, organist Monique LeBlanc and trumpeter Jude Gaspard.
Readings were given by godfather of the bride Clint Dugas and cousin of the groom Shay Toups.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Erath Community Center.
Following the wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple plans to reside in Erath.
