At the 4-H Outstanding Club Banquet that was held in May, Mount Carmel Elementary School was awarded the following club trophies for club points for their outstanding participation in the areas of personal development, demonstration day, record/project books and achievement day:

Division I (4-5th graders) 1st place, Mt. Carmel Elem., 33,610 points.

Division IV (Multi-level clubs), 2nd place, Mt. Carmel, 9,430 points.

Also, the top 100 4-H members in Vermilion Parish were honored at the banquet.

Each year a”Top Girl” and “Top Boy” are selected to receive special recognition for scoring the highest points on their award application.

This year’s recipients are Connor Waits, member at large, and Victoria Frederick , J.H. Williams Middle School.
