Crystal Frederick and Andre’ Monique exchanged vows of marriage on Sept. 25, 2010, at 6 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Maurice. Father Joseph Breaux officiated the service.

Crystal is the daughter of Keith and Peggy Frederick of Maurice. She is the granddaughter of the Beulah Picard and Eraste Broussard and the late Eta (Sis) Frederick and Roy Frederick.

Andre’ is the son of Norris and Joyce Monique of St. Martinville. He is the grandson of the late Delta Marie and Bonnie Tribe and the late Edmay and Alfred Monique.

The bride was escorted by her father Mr. Keith Frederick.

The bride wore a classic, strapless gown made of ivory satin. The gown featured a fully fitted, beaded detail and ruched silhouette. The skirt flared at the bottom and was accented with beautiful crystal beading and a sweeping train.

The bride carried a nosegay of ivory roses accented with greenery, crystals and pearls.

The bride’s matron of honor was her friend Ashley Denais.

The bridesmaids included Taylor Monique, daughter of the groom; Danielle Broussard, Michelle Picard, Danielle Bourque, sister of the groom; and Courtney Perrodin, niece of the groom.

The bride’s attendants wore an elegant, long, peridot rounded neck dress made of chiffon and charmeuse. Each maid carried an elegant ivory rose bouquet.

The flower girl was McKaine Angelle Frederick, godchild and niece of the bride. She wore a long, white dress with an ivory-colored sash accented with flowers and beaded top. She carried a ivory basket accented with chocolate and rhinestone embellishment with peridot rose petals.

The ring bearer was Braiden Keith Frederick, godchild to the groom and nephew to the bride.

The groom’s best man was brother of the bride Nicholas Fredrick.

The groomsmen included friends of the groom Blake Trahan, Brandon Denais, Jacob Fruge, Ben Stelly and Korey Lege.

Ushers included Brady Broussard and Trevor Courville.

The mother of the bride wore an ivory-colored classic two-piece suit trimmed in satin and pleated at the waist. Her corsage was made of baby roses peridot, greenery and was accented with crystals and pearls.

Readings were given by Sandra Denais and Rhonta Bellard, sister to the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Woodmen of the World Lodge in Maurice.
