The Abbeville City Council wants to try and change that. What the person can not do is discharge a gun in the city limits. That’s against the law.

This past weekend filming a short film took place in downtown Abbeville. Behind the production of the film were two Abbeville natives who helped write and produce the film.

Miguez won a special election held Saturday in parts of Iberia and Vermilion parishes.

Vermilion Parish livestock judging team wins state

North Vermilion’s Jordan Windmon earns parish MVP honors.

North Vermilion senior Jordan Windmon was recognized as the Vermilion Parish MVP and Abbeville head coach Berwick Hamilton earned coach of the year honors in the parish.
